We'd like to introduce you to our precious daughter, Rhodes Raven Elora Kennedy.
She flew into our lives like a whirlwind last night at 8:42pm and instantly began melting hearts ❤️❤️❤️
Melissa and baby are both healthy and doing very well.
We feel incredibly blessed to have had the amazing Orillia Midwives guiding us through pregnancy and delivery, as well as the exceptional nurses at OSMH!
The entire care team was truly phenomenal and we are forever grateful for all of you!
Today marks the 40th week that Melissa has been carrying our daughter...it is our due date!
I'm so proud of my wife.
The journey to get here has been nearly 5 years in the making, with more ups and downs than we care to count but we know that we're coming out stronger and more prepared than we could have imagined.
We took a walk last night with the stroller to get a feel for it and to hopefully get contractions going.
This morning we went out for breakfast, drank huge coffees, and walked out around a lot trying to induce.
We will keep trying everything we know of to get this baby into our arms, but for now, rest easy in mom's belly, sweet daughter.
We can't wait to meet you ❤️
