If you were wondering what was spinning around in the blue light on my story…I wanted to make some coasters for our wood furniture around the house. Had this sculpt from a while ago so I decided it would make a perfect dragon coaster! Once I cast them in metal I’ll post the results!!

When @kdgrider got out of the hospital last month I took her to dinner at her favorite place…the Hitching Post in Casmalia. We’ve been going nonstop since…but I think it’s time to head back! 🤤😋
I’ve noticed some people struggling to get their torch set up for a good flame! The custom cut screens are domed here in the shop and should be tucked around the wick. Then they are set in a bit to get the best air and fuel mixture with a large block I have. To make setting the screen/wick easily I’ve come up with a small simple tool to make it come out perfect every time!! This printed prototype works great!…we did a bunch to test it out! I will be casting them in metal to make sure they last forever too! I’ll probably include them in a kit or by themselves. So if it’s something you may want, keep an eye out!! 🔥😃👍

One of about 20 or so tests fits…put together and take apart…to fine tune each and every diver mug. Each metal piece, 11 in total, are hand picked and “fit” to each other through machining, sanding, massaging, etc., to fit around the inner glass. It’s a process that I’m just recently able to do…no thanks to my hands!! It’s meticulous work so bear with me, they are slow going. Hopefully I will be caught up soon though (within a month or two) and will be able to offer them once again for sale. No pre sales…one will be available when it is ready to ship. So stay tuned if interested.
