We believe in owning our quality every step of the way. We make the ✔️ leather, ✔️ boot and ✔️sole in our family owned leather tannery and factory, for four generations and counting.
We know handcrafting each product with precision means slower production, but we also know that haste makes waste. We’d rather produce quality products made to last than have our boots wearing out after a year and ending up in the landfill. That’s why we use construction techniques such as the Goodyear Welt shown in this video, which can be resoled over time. It may take longer, but it lasts longer too.
We’ve been making leather goods for other brands for decades, but due to popular demand by neighbors here at our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, we decided to branch out. In 2019 we opened our retail store on the first floor of our office building. We aptly named it Milwaukee Boot Co. We sold other brands made in our factory, but as we do with our production practices, we took the time to build this right. It took a full year for us to develop our own brand and launch our e-commerce store in 2020.
Milwaukee Boot was created to honor our roots both here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, once the leading leather manufacturing hub in the world, and in Chennai, India, where our family heritage still goes strong at our factory.
