I have a problem with keeping cars for only 6 months.
Yo
Hereās a run down of my current and previous motors, enjoy.
Renault Clio - First car, only a 1.2L but I used to think it was rapid with its Long Life special exhaust on. Sounded terrible, could probably outrun it on foot.
Ibiza Bocanegra - Loved this. Stood out on the road and turned heads for a SEATš Didnāt skip a beat for the year I owned it, which is a miracle as they are made of chocolate.
GTI Edition 30 - The one that I shouldnāt have sold, mainly because I put too much money into it. Lol. Probably my favourite out of the bunch. Yes the Evo is cool and only Ā£12, but I genuinely loved the ED30. Took it from āstandardā (found out it was Bluechip mapped𤢠after I left a Astra VXR) all the way to Stage 3 400bhp+ Hybrid Turboād. Silly quick. Last I heard itās bent a valve. Ouch.
E91 335D - Spent longer searching for this than I actually owned it. Awesome big boat, should have gone mental power with it (which it is now). Big, fat and comfortable. Good car, shite on fuel.
Golf R - The Lockdown Love. Bought this just before the Vid hit. So so good, but so so boring after a few straight line runs. You see them everywhere as they are brilliant tbf.
Evo IX GT - Ā£12 raffle win. Absolute monster. Still scares me after a year and a half (mainly because of its valueš¤£). Doesnāt feel as quick in a straight as the GTI and R, but get this bad boy into a corner and itāll rip you from your seat. Sticks like a fly to shit. Dream car, never selling.
MK6 GTD - Bought this as I couldnāt really justify having a R and Evo at the same time. Good, comfortable daily. Mapped it, lowered it, changed alloys and then felt like I ruined it.
F30 335D - Massive impulse buy (shock). 380bhp with enough torque to tow a house. X-Drive and the ZF gearbox is a joke. Made my Evo feel slow. Surprisingly good on diesel. Would definitely have another one. The ultimate daily imo.
Ibiza Cupra PD160 - For some strange reason I always wanted one of these, seen a lad I know have one up for sale and jumped at it. Rare as rocking horse shit in Onvi Yellow and extremely low miles. Brilliant for daily driving. Will definitely regret selling it *cough* Saturdayš¬
Everybody loves the sunshine⦠and some cars just belong in itāļø

Location three of the @rollingproject_ shoot. Donāt think it could fit the car any better.
Open roads, windows rolled down and sun setting over the Welsh mountains.

First glimpse at @rollingproject_ shots from Wednesday evenings shootš„
First and foremost - Ben was an absolute pleasure to meet. Got an eye for creative automotive photography that I can seriously admire. Heās absolutely knocked it out of the park with the shoot. If youāve got something old, cool or quirky, you really need to get this guys camera on it. Cannot wait for the final magazine prints, will be something that will hopefully live with the car long after Iāve had it. A very niche business Ben has got and can only see it getting bigger and bigger.
Got a good few hundred photos to drip feed onto socials over the next few weeks/months. So keep your eyes peeled.

MK2 Golf GTI - 1.8T (bored to a 1.9L).
This thing is SERIOUS.
Fully built AGU engine. Wossner pistons, Zrp forged rods, etc. List is too long. Rated for 600bhp.
Strapped to the engine is a Garret GT28RS. Pushing 340bhp to the front wheels. Itās a f**king handful!!!
Ceramic coated manifold and 3 inch downpipe, Tial 40mm external wastegate, handmade 3inch stainless exhaust,
Maxx āstreetā ECU, Quafe LSD, Fully Built G60 box by GasnāGears, Brembo Junior GT stoppers, Rare US front and rear bumpers, H&R Ultralow Coiloversā¦the list goes on. No seriously. Itās ridiculous.
Could eat your dinner off the underside. Fully restored to an incredibly high standard by the previous, previous owner.
So, so many nice extras on it. It ticked ABSOLUTELY everything I ever wanted in a 1.8T MK2.
You may be asking why? Well, when I originally bought the MK2 R32, I wanted a 1.8T MK2 to begin with. But nothing ever like this came up for sale at the time. So I settled for the R32. It was nowhere near as nice as this, but Iād regretted getting rid of it, so it only felt right when this came up for sale, I had to jump at it. It wasnāt going to hang around long!
I posted on my story a few weeks ago saying I was chasing my dream car next, it was actually a B7 RS4 Avant. I really started to look into them, and the more I read, the more I got put off. The maintenance bills were astronomical. Some owners were spending in excess of £10k a year to keep it on the road. Maybe one day, who knows.
Anyway, time to finally enjoy summer driving again after buying that heap of shit EK9 (fuck DJR). Canāt wait to get it out with the boys, go on a few C&M trips and maybe a weekend Car Show.
Shoutout to @isaacodgers for building the most incredible MK2. An absolute pleasure to deal with. Told me everything I could ever want to know about it and more. I think Iād still be at his now if I let him go on, haha! Check him out if you love your VWās though. Heās got an even better MK1 Golf. The guy is a fanatic (thatās putting it lightly).
That crisp, sunny Saturday sun got me in the moodššØ

Didnāt win itā¦so I bought itš«” - @bqr123
New daily. Back in an E91 (shock), but this time just a 320Dš
A lot of car for such a little price tag. Red Brown Dakota Leather, M Sport, BC Coilovers, Colour Coded Roof Box. Bosh. A little rough around the edges, but nothing that canāt be fixed with a good clean.
Massive thanks to @witherstransport for picking it up, test driving it and dropping it off.
Next step is to put the Cupra up for saleā¦then the summer weekend car hunt can beginš
