This year I set out to be more active in showing sides of myself that I normally never show. @mjsvisions helped me start that journey by helping me give a little more insight into what goes on behind everything. @rendezvousdub just hit its 2-year anniversary, and we really wanted to capture not only the vibe of the event, but the person behind it too. There was a feeling we were trying to put across while documenting days like this, and by the end of the night we knew we had something special. We hope you can feel the pride and understand the message we’re trying to share when you watch it. None of us thought we’d ever be in a position to stuff like this, so to be here now is honestly unbelievable, and something we never take for granted. Being able to work in different countries outside of Ireland. ❓DESCRIBE YOUR CREATIVE STYLE IN ONE WORD. Cinematic. ❓WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM COLLABORATION AND WHY? My Dream collaboration is to work on a movie with Ryan Coogler or Jordan Peele. The movies they make really inspire me to make movies where I have to rewatch it to grasp the full meaning of it. ❓WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE GOTTEN OR CAN GIVE? The best advice I got was from my Father. He told me that “Everyone is running their own race and that what other people are accomplishing has nothing to do with your journey. Everyone has their time to make it, when they know what they want in life. So if you want something don’t look at others, worry about your own race and put your all into your dreams”.
