I had a really fun time this morning passing notes with these fantastic women in honour of the upcoming International Women’s Day.
Thanks so much to UN Women and the Economic Club of Canada for inviting me to represent Canada in discussing the future of female entrepreneurship in G7 countries.
Don’t worry, I was also like, you want me? To talk about what? Somehow I managed to swear only once, so it’s nice to know that each time we do get better.
In all seriousness, it was exciting to be around female entrepreneurs who are seeing change happen in their respective countries and industries when it comes to gender representation. Seeing people in business who look like these women is important, and also vital to our economies. Looking forward to taking what I learned today and carrying it with me in future projects filled with amazing women, and of course, allies.

This has been such an interesting journey for me and a really organic process. I’m really grateful to the young women who have been a part of the development process of this film who inspire me every day.
