Marisa Culatto and Yuzo Ono first met a few years ago through a collaboration on a visual art and haiku exhibition organized by a London gallery. Their initial conversations developed into a dialogue, during which Ono expressed a particular interest in CulattoāsĀ 12 UntitledĀ works. From this exchange, the idea for this book was born: Ono would compose twelve haiku, each responding to one of Culattoās twelveĀ UntitledĀ pieces.Ā These works were originally commissioned by MOCA LondonĀ as part of their 2020 WE (Web Exhibitions) program.
