awestruck by these pics of my pieces 🤍 i call this one Little Brother. the body of the vase is a porcelain recipe by @jake.monroe_ who also captured these photos! Smuggled into a soda kiln and fired to cone 13, Little Brother, webbed in gold lustre, wears a stoneware hat and foot. this kind of artifact truly captures the elements of the environment from which it is born; it could never exist outside of this community without the collaborators of its creation.

this one had the super fun honour to fire a raku for the first time in a decade with @pottergardens ! 10/10 it was awesome to spend the day playin with fire, and to do a raku is a special treat!! such excitement and wild, rainbow results. anyway, this babyskullz pyramid is called "141 baby skullz and a mummy within", and its co-fires include and obelisk by jones aka @pottergardens and machete by @marina.gralmeida among others
