What once represented labor now walks with elegance, ownership, and presence at the @blackprofessionalsnetwork Shades of Melanin & Denim Event.
I’m not who I was last year… and that’s the blessing.
This version of me is louder in spirit, softer in self-love, and stepping into spaces that feel aligned 🤎✨
@effortless.expressions Editor of @cpopentertainment and CEO of @naturalcharmz thank you for the sisterhood and style energy✨
✨Getting Down To Business✨
@gabrielleamani thank you so much for continuing to create spaces for us to connect and support each other. This podcast had me leaving alive with the power of Black women standing tall, aligning energy, and amplifying each other’s light. The magnetic energy in the room was unmatched. 🖤👠✨
Proof that work can look like this when you’re aligned. ✨
Planning to execution, every moment last week reminded me why I do this. Creating, connecting, and bringing visions to life… with a little fun in between.
Building great connections by leaning into where energy aligns ✨
When creatives recognize each other in real time, the work speaks before the introductions. ✨
Building with intention, moving with purpose, and showing up where it matters. 👠Check out my favorite #choreographer @lnadia_sol 💜 We are both wearing @zainabu_natural_skincare ✨
Whether I’m behind the scenes or stepping into the moment, my priority is always the same. Make sure the vision lands‼️
I’m hands-on in every detail. Real production is about showing up where you’re needed and executing with intention.
This is what runway coordination looks like when it’s aligned. ✨
Mommy & Me En Blanc 🤍✨
Grateful for the beautiful experience created with intention and love. Celebrating my mom’s birthday while being present with my son in the same space… three generations, one moment, one memory we get to carry forward.
Thank you to Khadene, founder of @kreativmyndzevents , for curating such a meaningful event, to @myafricanpride for pouring into us by sponsoring the gift bags with moisture for our crowns. Lastly, thank you to @houseofpetali for the beautiful decor table. This was such a special surprise.
This event was legacy, love, and alignment all in one. 🤍 #MommyAndMe

This time last year, I was in corporate — holding it together, barely breathing between meetings, knowing deep down I was meant for more.
Today? I’m coordinating more fashion runways. I’m operating in New York Fashion Week. I’m building in spaces I once only visualized.
The shift didn’t happen overnight. It happened through belief. Through choosing myself. Through loving myself enough to stop shrinking and start aligning.
I manifested this version of my life. Not just the runway moments — but the freedom, the creative expansion, the confidence to move differently.
And I’m deeply grateful.
Grateful for the souls who saw my vision before it was fully formed. Grateful for the ones who trusted my leadership and creative ideas. Grateful for those who didn’t know me from a can of paint — but felt my energy, believed in it, and built something magical with me anyway.
That kind of support? You can’t manufacture it. That’s alignment.
There’s something powerful about believing in yourself so fully that you no longer want to be anyone else - Rihana. You stop chasing comparison and start building identity.
Last year I was surviving.
This year I’m aligned.
And I’m just getting started. #NYFW2026

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. From months of planning to the final moments on show day, this experience was carried by people who believed in the vision and moved with purpose. To those who were in the trenches with me from the start, and to those who showed up ready to work, serve, and support wherever needed — thank you 🙏🏾
The Afrikin Runway Show during Miami Art Basel was built on alignment, trust, and collective effort. Every role mattered. Every contribution counted. Deep appreciation to the Afrikin team and everyone who showed love, energy, and intention to bring this vision to life.
Moment of reflection on the AfriKin Runway Show during Art Basel 2025 and the powerful stories that moved through the runway. RO2K Collection by designer Roky King Sesay, whose work honors African heritage through modern silhouettes and intentional design rooted in Sierra Leone. Fashion on the runway is truly my heartbeat — it carries history, identity, and purpose all at once. Grateful to be in spaces where culture is respected, creativity is elevated, and global stories are styled with intention.
