Itâs been another exciting Monday Funday with Mitten Foundation, Inc and FOOD HUGS! Another $3,000 of groceries paid for by surprise! So many who said they have never âwonâ anything & a few people who were holding on to one or two items without a kart and so we told them we were paying tonight and their eyes lit up. One was a father of 3 kids. He was smiling so big when he left with a kart full of food tonight! Itâs been such an eye opening experience this season for all of us. Tonight we popped up at Great Giant Supermarket- with FOOD HUGS and Jenna Arcidiacono from Amore Trattoria Italiana to continue our holiday partnership of giving to our local communities.
We were excited for the surprise, but hearing how much of a difference tonight made was absolutely heartwarming. With the donations you've provided we were able to purchase over $2500 of groceries!
