I remember the day I got told we were recording the soundtrack of a movie about Lee Millerโs life. I was halfway through a book about her, completely fascinated by her story and researching more about her fantastic work. I could not believe the coincidence, it made me so happy. Now the movie is out, I have more than one book about her life and works (a rolleiflex camera from the 50s) and many good memories of the recording session that brought the soundtrack to life. I got to shake Anthony Penroseโs hand, Leeโs son, and got to tell him how grateful I was about his effort to get her story out in the world to inspire all of us. Thanks to @abbeyroadstudios and the team @danhayden3 and @sarahsarahmeyz . Produced by Kate Winslet, Music by Alexandre Desplat.

I know people that keep the 3D version of it (the real stuff) in the bathroom or in the locker at work. I know people that are not even bothered to pick it up from the mail box to bring it home. Anyone can see or not see anything they want in a piece of paper or a prize, a name tag or just a credit. It has the value you want it to have. I donโt give myself much credit about many things but, as I grow older I like to think I can be kind to myself more often. When I look at them I see my blood, sweat and tears of the past decade of my life. For some people is not much, for others might be a lot and for me is something I can be proud of. On we go. #grammy
