6 days. 80+ kms. 1000’s of Meters of elevation gain and loss. All solo.
No guides, no porters - just me, my backpack, and way too many stairs.
The Annapurna Base Camp trek was easily one of the most challenging and rewarding things I’ve ever done.
Crossed snowy glaciers, climbed through so many forests, rain, and made it to 4,130m with nothing but dal bhat power.
Met some amazing people along the way - from fellow trekkers who became friends, to the warmest tea house owners who insisted I have “just one more cup of coffee.”
Grateful for every conversation, every shared meal, and every push of motivation.
I’ll definitely be back to the mountains for more. And if you’re even slightly thinking about doing this trek - go for it.
Just be ready for the never-ending staircases
