This is something I’ve been thinking about and talking about with everyone for the last few months and I decided to officially push for it since I have such an awesome local following on my chainmail page!
We have something truly unique in Minneapolis compared to other states. We’re lucky to have a thriving local economy and incredibly strong sense of community. We have so many folks who value uplifting their neighbors, supporting the arts, and keeping local businesses in business.
This holiday season I’m proposing to shop local, make gifts, buy second hand, support your local coffee shops, visit local restaurants, and keep our small community thriving.
I’m of the mindset that when we support those around us vs large businesses, it boosts our ability to keep this momentum and as a by-product, the ability to afford to help others in our community.
I’m either going to build a directory for local goods and services or at least get a list going here for folks to review and visit.
If you have a local business you want to add to the list please COMMENT THEM BELOW! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Additionally if you are interested in helping me build out a directory I would love some assistance because I think it will be huge!
Let’s goooooo!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
crocheted some lace and added some chainmail :-)
I’ve been adding chainmail here and there with my bandanas if you’ve been to any of the Minneapolis markets I’ve vended recently BUT wanted to put a little ✨flare✨ to this one. I’ve really enjoyed learning how to crochet lace and am excited to do more experimenting!!

Couldn’t be more proud of how Minnesota has stood up against the federal occupation of the twin cities by ICE and the DHS. Communities have come together stronger than ever fight back. Continue to protect your neighbors and give back. People are still hiding in their homes, kids are still scared of going to school, and families are being ripped apart. Just because a few were agents were sent home doesn’t mean the work stops.
Lately! First one was a cool commission I got to do for a very cool person. Next two are some completed works and the last is a fun little free handed project I’ve been taking too long on haha
