We couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to a man who needs no introduction, the DJ’s DJ, Onur Özer. A true architect of the underground, Onur Özer has been shaping and shaking dancefloors since the late ‘90s, emerging from Istanbul’s evolving underground scene to become a global force in minimal and beyond. From early residencies and pushing new sounds in Turkey, to exporting his signature style across Europe, his journey has continually broken boundaries and rewritten rules. With releases on cult labels and a reputation built on deep digging and seamless, genre-blurring sets, Özer crafts unpredictable journeys that move effortlessly between house, techno, electro and leftfield textures. It’s a great pleasure to welcome friend of MITHA @ethan_mcnamara to Leeds in a couple of weeks. Ethan’s approach to DJing sits somewhere between futuristic  drama and introspective after party groove. When he’s behind the decks,  you’re just as likely to find yourself getting lost in electrifying 90s tech- no as you are hearing an impossible-to-find edit of an 80’s synth or EBM  record. It’s no surprise that the Leeds-based DJ’s calendar is growing to  match his skills, including a string of recent dates across the UK and Europe, supporting some of the worlds best underground DJs.  When Ethan joined Mugpie in 2015, he increased the focus on cutting edge  sounds as the brand grew into one of the preeminent nights for all things  deep in the north of England. Ethan’s crates sit up there with the best of  them, with a collection as singular as it is varied, thanks to his nearly encyclopedic knowledge of dance music in all of its intoxicating varieties.  His pulsating and emotive selections are perfectly complemented by his  willingness to take risks and stay outside of trends, with a constant sense  for how to always create the right amount of tension and drama. The haze has at last settled from our pre-valentines Northern extravaganza a couple weeks back. It was a night we feel was a climax of the last few events honing our Leeds craft. I think we can also safely say that we managed to avoid any Friday the 13th disasters. From start to finish the dancefloor had a special feel, people came early and stayed with us until the birds sung along with the music. We couldn’t have asked for a better crowd than those who showed face. A massive thank you is in order for @dj_subaru and @intergalactic_gary who curated a flawless soundtrack for the night. Equal thanks to @djblubear who joined forces with @oscarwhiteheadb for an impromptu after hours bum2bum set. We hope you all had as much fun as we did x We’ve certainly been nursing dancefloor blues over the last couple of weeks and cannot wait to be back in Leeds meticulously hanging stuff from the ceilings for hours on end. A cult hero of Leeds and party pioneer of the brilliant Pleasuremaxxx party, DJ Subaru has been a key cog in the Northern music scene for quite some years now. With a stellar repertoire of sets across Europe in Berghain’s panorama Bar, Berlin’s PDA party resident and upcoming dates at Love International and Are you Affiliated in Newcastle, we feel truly honoured to host them this Friday. Subaru’s productions continue to wow listeners and dancer alike across Europe, notably recent EP ‘Dog’ released on Palms Trax’s CWPT label. Dog encompasses dancefloor bliss with a signature medley of throbbing Italo and punk influences. It’s a record that takes up a special place on my shelf, and hopefully soon a space on Eiger’s Technics. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome @dj_subaru to MITHA this Friday. Intergalactic Gary has been mixing since the early ’80s, shaped by The Hague’s underground scene. Born in Wellington, New Zealand, but long based in the Netherlands, he first made his mark in the city’s squats and clubs before holding a residency at LA D.S. from 1992 to 1996, bringing house, garage and disco to Sunday nights. Around the same time he became a weekly voice on pirate stations like Trend FM and Radical Radio alongside I-F. As a producer, his first record appeared in 1994, followed by The Parallax Corporation with I-F in 1998 (a personal favourite of ours). Their Lift Off single and Cocadisco series on Viewlexx became underground landmarks, alongside remixes for Jolly Music’s-Radio Jolly (Sony) Adult‘s-Hand to Phone (Clone), Ganymed’s-Music Takes Me Higher (Sabotage) and Japanese Telecom. For decades he has been a constant presence on the international circuit, from Panorama Bar and Tresor (Berlin) to De School (Amsterdam) and XOYO (London), and across clubs and festivals in Barcelona, Brussels, Beijing, New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City. His sets are unpredictable and move fluidly between disco, house, Italo and techno. Since 2002 he’s also been a regular on Intergalactic FM, where his mixes continue to inspire listeners worldwide. We couldn’t be happier to host someone who is, in our humble opinion, one of the all-time greats and a dream booking of ours to @club.eiger on the 13th of February. INTERGALACTIC ADVENTURES AWAIT (IN 2026, NOT 2025 AS THE FLYER SAYS) It’s very possible we’ve never been more excited for a party than this one. We’ve got the absolute pleasure of welcoming a man whom we have been long term admirers of, @intergalactic_gary , who’ll be making a super duper rare north of England appearance and flying in all the way from space!! (The Netherlands). Mixing since the early 80s, shaped by The Hague’s underground, with roots in squats, pirate radio and long club residencies, his approach has always felt grounded and personal. From early days at LA D.S. in Amsterdam, to Panorama Bar, Tresor, De School and beyond, he’s remained curious, playful and totally his own. His sets move fluidly between disco, house, Italo, electro and techno - unpredictable but never careless. We’ve spent a lot of time listening to his mixes over the years in utter awe and so couldn’t be happier to welcome him to one of our favourite spots in the country for an extended set. Also gracing the Eiger dance floor is @dj_subaru , Leeds legend and party pioneer (@pleasuremax.x.x ). Having had a stellar last few years, enchanting dancefloors across Europe with expressive sets and lovely new releases, we’re very very chuffed to have Benny play a Mitha.
