It’s here! 💫 @we__collab is a collaborative art exhibition rooted in connection, creativity, and community. 60+ artists across disciplines—visual artists, photographers, poets, musicians, fashion designers, and graphic designers—coming together around one question: what does community look like or mean to you? Instead of creating in isolation, we’re building together—blending styles, perspectives, and process into something shared. This is more than an exhibition. It’s connection in motion. Join us for opening night: Saturday, June 6th | 7:00–11:00 PM Lounges Content Studio (@lounges_cle )

This piece is still unfinished… but I felt it was important to share it now. For Black History Month, I wanted to introduce My Garden Is My Crown a body of work rooted in identity, heritage, and the ongoing conversation surrounding Black hair and discrimination. This painting is one of five works that will make up this series, with more pieces and exploration continuing throughout the rest of this year and into 2027. This project reflects the layered experiences of African Americans and the relationship we have with our hair, identity, and self-expression. The headscarf has long carried layered meaning for Black women. In West African cultures, head wraps symbolized status, spirituality, and pride. During slavery in the Americas, they were forced upon Black women as a tool of control most notably through Tignon laws meant to diminish their beauty and visibility. Yet even then, Black women reclaimed them, turning restriction into resilience, cloth into crown. What was meant to suppress became a symbol of strength, culture, and self-definition. This unfinished piece represents that journey faceless not because she lacks identity, but because she carries many. The headwrap is not just fabric; it is memory, resistance, protection, and pride. Though this piece is still evolving, its message is clear: our hair, our roots, our crowns have always been political and always powerful. 🌿👑 #MyGardenIsMyCrown #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackArt #ArtInProgress #BlackIdentity Crown

Two very different stories. One kept beautifully simple clean lines, bold sunflowers, and the quiet power of minimalism. The other poured with detail hand-drawn paisley around the brim, a rich split-tone crown, and all the careful work that comes from taking time to build something layered and intentional. Both pieces took hours of focus, thought, and patience to bring to life, and I love how each one shows a different side of creativity. Click the link in bio for a more details Heads up: select fedoras will be on sale for the month of February so stay tuned.

Secret Treasure ✨🤍 This fedora was an absolute joy to create. From the layered textures to the hand-detailed pattern work, every element was crafted with intention and curiosity, allowing the design to unfold naturally. The process behind this piece was just as meaningful as the final result playful, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying. Secret Treasure is one of three new fedoras in this upcoming release, each designed with its own story and energy. All three will be available January 12 link in bio

I had the pleasure of collaborating with a truly dope creative again @blackhare13 . Back in August 2025, he threw out a idea for a fedora something bold, different, and outside of my usual lane and challenged me to bring it to life. This was my first time creating a design like this, and honestly, it was exciting, fun, and incredibly rewarding. I love working with people who push me to think outside the box and create pieces that feel a little more daring and unexpected. This collaboration was nothing but good energy, creativity, and growth, and I’m definitely looking forward to collaborating more together in the future.

This commission embodies true strength, resilience, and the beauty of transformation. My client shared, ‘I look at myself as a queen, but it’s deeper than that — I’m learning to love myself after years of unhappiness with my complexion from being bullied or put down by those closest to me. Now I embrace the very things I once hated.’ The design draws inspiration from African traditions, with every element chosen with purpose. Black represents power, dignity, and the depth of her journey, while gold symbolizes triumph, royalty, and the light of self-love breaking through. For her, being a queen means beauty, strength, and the courage to rise above the voices that once tried to silence her. This piece is more than art — it is a crown of resilience. On many levels, I connected with her story, and it reminded me of the healing power in embracing our truths. This is not just her portrait — it is her testimony, her crown, her light. #BrimmedCrown #customfedoras #wearableart
