2024: The best year yet for growth, new beginnings, and a twin twist
So… after 12 months of behind-the-scenes work, we’re officially launching @geminaeshq today! Why leave “We are Duffree” behind? It just felt like the right time. I started We are Duffree six years ago by creating stuff that matters. We were already working on sustainability, diversity and positive impact before it was the thing. “We are Duffree” was all about freedom, freedom to be ourselves, to make waves, and to do work that speaks.
Growing up in a half-English, half-Dutch, queer household at the NDSM marina shipyard taught me one thing: there’s real power in bringing different worlds together. So with Geminaes, we’re all about that authentic impact, no faking it. We meet brands where they are and bring ideas that actually mean something.
And here’s where the twin thing comes in: Geminaes is like a brand’s creative twin. We just get it, the voice, the vibe, the values. We’ve got this Amsterdam-meets-London energy going on, bringing global ideas with a local heartbeat.
