Last weekend was a lot of fun with the @discmaniaopen taking place on PEI. There were a few highlights with being able to watch the Pros play @rosevalleydiscgolf course, but the most exciting part was being able to win the MA40 division at my home course, @huckitdiscgolf After my round, I went out and found Benny on hole 14 at Huckit as a spotter. He said all the players were very appreciative he was there to help keep an eye on their disc.
Thanks to @laughingbenjamin for all the work he and his volunteers did to set up this event. As well I would also like to thank Ben's wife for the beautiful pottery trophy.
Last weekend was alot of fun at the opening of the kings pine disc golf course. The event started off slow for me but then picked up in the second round with my first tournament ace. Oliver as usual played amazing. Proud parent. It was nice to have players from the maritime over for the event as well. Now waiting for the nationals to begin in September.
Augusta disc golf course. It had 2 different layouts on the property. Quarry run(beginner/intermediate course)and ghost tree( pro course). We thought it would be fun to try ghost tree. If you didn't hit the line to make the landing zone birdie was out and the par was a maybe.
Day 2. Maple hill disc golf course. Ben came with Oliver and I today. Another fun day. No lost discs 😁. Ben played from the Red tees and Oliver and I played the white tees.
