MIT draws inspiration from the raw sound of early-2000s hard techno. Starting out within the broader hard techno, he eventually found his true passion in the driving sound of Schranz. Mixing old-school influences with modern production techniques, he bridges two generations of the scene. Rooted in deep respect for the genre’s origins, MIT blends old school tracks with modern tracks in his sets. Supported by artists such as Klangkuenstler, Kobosil, KUKO and OBI, MIT and his Rotterdam Rave debut coming up he is quickly becoming a name to watch in the global scene.

2025 is coming to an end
This year felt like the biggest step I’ve taken musically, and I finally have the confidence that this can actually maybe work out. A lot of things are already planned for next year, and I can’t wait. Next year will also (hopefully) be the final year of my studies, after which I’ll be free to push my music even further. I can’t explain how hyped I am for what’s coming, even though it’s all so uncertain, that’s exactly what makes this journey so exciting.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me this year, both personally and musically. I’ve met so many incredibly kind people this year, and I’m very grateful for the close friends I have. Let’s make 2026 even better than this year.

When I started this career and began fucking around with making music, I did not expect it would lead to me playing at @rotterdamrave . It’s something I could only dream of, but now it’s reality. From visiting the festival for the first time in 2022 to now having my own slot next year, I am insanely grateful for this opportunity and want to thank @kjeldruigrok for the trust.
