"Studying Spanish at MIT has been a wonderful experience!" senior Leena Mehendale (@leenamehendale ) says. "Iโve absolutely loved getting the opportunity to learn about not only the language itself but also the culture that accompanies it."
The Biological Engineering major with @mitdeptofbe and Spanish minor with @mit.global.languages credits her @mistiatmit experiences and her studies with showing her the value of an interdisciplinary approach to education and life.

"My project focused on the design of a high-power voltage source inverter to drive a synchronous motor. I investigated different topologies and semiconductor modules, simulated performance using a power electronics simulation software, and refined the selection criteria to shortlist the best inverter design," shared Timmy Bui, an EECS major, who interned in South Korea after his senior year.
