THE FANTASY
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are a queer activist collective of drag nuns founded in San Francisco in 1979, known for using camp and community action to challenge stigma and fight for gay/trans rights in the 80's.
Join our Service with Mother Mandragora (she/her) OG member from the London house and Mr. Saint Patrick Star (he/him) who'll celebrate the sisters into a Dapper D¥ke, pub night, and mass! You'll be able to get married, baptise, confess, and enjoy communion among other d¥kes 🖤

Saturday night's sexy stone-butch host came all the way in a rocket from Mexico (and the 80's) to steal our hearts for one evening of his retrosexual metrosexual fantasy.
St. Patrick Star is an all-round international Drag King superstar, as seen in the Mexico, Washington DC, London, and Shanghai scenes. His drag is all about clowning retro classics, heavily inspired by a "butchón" camp lifestyle.

political science fiction is sometimes under-appreciated to explore and critique the horrors of society. it is thanks to writers and stories that many generations have found resilience and the language to fight authoritarianism, (state) t3rr0rism, racism, exploitation, misogyny, violence, etc.
each workshop we will explore dystopian fiction waves, their styles and contexts. we'll deconstruct (and re-construct) from movements like 1920's anti-authoritarian fiction (for example: 1984, brave new world, fahrenheit 64), feminist dystopia (70's-90's, handmaids tale), young adult (2000's, hunger games, divergent), cyberpunk (the matrix), apocalypse (natural, spiritual, man-made). as well as daring to imagine better futures (i.e. afrofuturism).
our primary lens is gothic (embracing the dark in a punk, earnest and ironic way), but we are also socialist, anarchist, intersectional feminist, including (but not limited to): anti-racist, working class, transgender, lesbian, decolonial.
