Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, imagined through paper, precision, and live performance by @mister_wright of @thepuppetkitchen and @teddy_yudain .
This production brought together 50 puppets, 5 opera singers, a full orchestra, and 2 puppeteers, all performing live across five shows.
Created in collaboration with LOS Kids and @thelittleorchestrasociety , this marks the third original production together and their fifth collaboration overall.
And the best part? The process starts with things you probably already have: paper, scissors, glue, rubber bands, and imagination. These ideas can be staged with a handheld camera — even a smartphone and a TV — and performed for family, friends, or an audience. Big worlds don’t require big tools, just curiosity and play.
