Day 2 at Miss Teenage Canada!!!
Today was packed with unforgettable moments! We kicked things off with our official photoshoot 📸 and had an energizing fitness photoshoot session that got us all moving 💪🏼. Later, we had the cutest Pink Pj Party filled with fun, laughter, and so much pink! 🐷🎀

🌟 Today marks the 2nd Day of Miss Teenage Canada Nationals & with it, I’m proud to introduce my platform: Youth Voice. 💬🍁
Youth Voice is a movement I founded and led along my peers to empower teens to speak up and take action on the defining issues of our generation: social justice, gender equality, climate change and more. Through storytelling, multimedia platforms including YouTube and Instagram, as well as furthering that mission as an outstanding youth speaker at the United Nations; I strive to amplify youth voices and ignite real change.
As Miss Teenage Vancouver, I turned this platform into action:
🧃 Fundraising for BC Children’s Hospital through a booth sale + online sale
👕 Leading a youth clothing donation drive for youth shelters
📝 Organizing holiday card fundraisers
🎙️ Hosting youth speakers on social issues in-person
🎓 Organizing a series of inspiring grad video interviews (Upcoming! Keep an eye out!)
Now, on the national stage, I carry a mission: to elevate youth-led change across Canada and show the power of our generation’s voices. Because when youth rise; change begins, and the world moves.

Twice a week, I mentor younger students through LBN - Learning Buddies Network, a program where kids who struggle with reading are referred by their schools for extra one on one support. I work with them to build not just their reading skills, but their confidence too.
It’s about more than sounding out words—it’s about helping them know their worth so they can believe in themselves and grow into stronger, more capable readers. Over time, I’ve been able to build real connections with them, and seeing their confidence in both their abilities and themselves grow is incredibly rewarding. This kind of support is at the heart of my platform, Empower Her Light, reminding others of their worth so they can believe in themselves. It’s not always about big, life changing gestures. Sometimes, it’s the small, consistent moments of encouragement that make the biggest difference. Whether it’s logging on to mentor a child week after week or writing a letter to someone who needs hope, it’s those simple acts of care that help someone know their worth. And once they know their worth, they can start to believe in themselves, and when they believe in themselves, anything is possible!

I had the opportunity to attend the Swim BC Divisionals, and it was such an incredible experience. I woke up at 4 a.m., and even though it was a very wet and chilly day, it was so full of energy and excitement.
As Miss Teenage Surrey, I was invited to present awards, and throughout the morning, I handed out over 90 medals to swimmers of all ages. I loved getting to cheer them on, hand awards out, and be a small part of a day that meant so much to so many families.
One of the highlights of the day was getting to present a medal to my own brother, which was unforgettable moment and one that made me feel like such a proud siste!
It was an honor to celebrate these young athletes and witness their dedication, sportsmanship, and love for the sport.

✨ Fundraising with Heart ✨
As part of my journey as Miss Teenage Vancouver 2025, I hosted a small yet mighty fundraiser for BC Children’s Hospital, which is the province’s only full-service pediatric hospital, supporting over 270,000 visits each year from youth across BC and the Yukon. 🏥💙
From selling first and second-hand accessories, hair clips, and cosmetics to snacks and drinks as well as swim goggles at SkyTrain stations and online, I was able to raise $200 to support life-saving care for young patients battling everything from cancer to cardiac illness to mental health challenges.
This hospital has over 3,000 dedicated staff and offers care in nearly every pediatric field imaginable, knowing that made every sale feel more meaningful. 🧸✨
Every small action can make a big impact, and I’m so grateful to everyone who stopped by, supported, or donated. Here’s to youth helping youth: one step, one sale, one smile at a time. 💛
