Just WOW! She did the work, and now she’s earned her place not just as a great female rapper, but a bona fide ENTERTAINER. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’ve always been a fan, but now I’m a SUPER FAN. @iamcardib is most definitely The Drama 🔥🔥🔥
Bayard Rustin was one of the most critical yet under-acknowledged architects of the civil rights movement. A brilliant strategist, he played a central role in shaping the philosophy of nonviolent resistance that defined Martin Luther King Jr.’s leadership. Rustin organized the 1963 March on Washington, coordinated logistics, messaging, and discipline, and ensured it ran with precision. Without his operational mind and deep understanding of Gandhian tactics, the movement would have lacked structure and national impact.
Rustin was also openly gay at a time when that reality could have destroyed the movement’s credibility in the public eye. Because of this, he was often pushed into the background despite his influence. Still, King trusted him. Their partnership shows a complex truth: a movement rooted in justice relied on a man marginalized even within it. Rustin’s contributions were not optional, they were foundational.
