2 Boys - and a reach that always exceed’s our grasp. To be honest, it was pretty pathetic at first. An awful logo, 0 boat ability and coaches that couldn’t understand what on earth we were thinking. We’d never even sat in a Kayak… and we were talking about the Yukon 1000. One of the world’s hardest Ultra Marathons. But we worked, worked and worked. Swollen hands, raw torsos and 1million swims. But slowly, we started coming together - picking up pace, picking up power. Off the water, emails, zoom calls and any lead we could get our hands on consumed our lives for months. We’ve pored countless hours into Mission Memory. Why? because our grandparents poured countless hours into us. We want to create a movement in their memory, not just for our grandparents - but all grandparents. That ever so special group of people, who provided that warm space for as long as our younger selves can remember. We’re not unique in loosing our grandparents, but thats what makes Mission Memory so important. It’s a Mission everyone’s apart of - binded by those golden memories of Grandma and Grandpa. We want to do them proud - and we wont stop till we do.
