About the print: 𝙈𝙤𝙡𝙘𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙩𝙡: A molcajete is a traditional Mexican mortar and pestle made from volcanic rock, used for grinding and mixing ingredients like spices, chiles, and herbs to create authentic salsas, pastes, and other Mexican dishes. It consists of the bowl (molcajete) and the pestle (tejolote), both made from porous basalt. The term molcajete originates from Molcaxitl, a word in Nahuatl (the native tongue of the Aztecs and various cultures), derived from a combination of mōlli (meaning "sauce" or "mixture") and caxitl (meaning "bowl").
