It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news of my dad’s passing earlier this week, surrounded by loved ones. After battling unexplained symptoms and enduring endless doctors’ visits, he was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer just one month ago.
My love for my dad knows no bounds. He was a really good dad —supportive, honest, hardworking, and endlessly funny.
His approach to business was something I always admired. Fair, honest, and meticulous, he earned unwavering loyalty from his customers over the years. Working alongside him for several years was a privilege I’ll always cherish. I’ll miss seeking his advice on every work endeavor, his stories told from the couch, eyes closed, mind you (iykyk).
I’ll miss our adventures traveling, his random calls and visits, and those late night Marco Polos to the family that always cracked us up. And who could forget his Beatles jam sessions in the car, with the epic dashboard drumming?
The void he leaves behind is unmeasurable. My heart aches knowing that Wes and Billie will grow up without their beloved grandpa —a man who would undoubtedly have been one of their favorite people.
Rest easy dada. You left us way too soon.

We’re in the final stretch! Baby sis should arrive within the next month! Thankful to my love @chadkirklandphoto for capturing these photos. Being pregnant is magical and challenging and I hope I never forget this time in my life. Cross your fingers for me that baby waits to make her debut until dad is back in town in two weeks. 🤞🏻💕🤞🏻
This is my handsome, soft spoken and witty cousin Gavin. He just turned 18, graduated high school & started college at Weber State a few weeks ago. He also just so happens to be looking for a kidney donor. I think the world of Gavin and want to help spread the word so he can hopefully get back to living life full of energy and good health. Unfortunately I didn’t qualify as a donor. Please let me know if you or anyone you know is interested in helping him out. It would be such a wonderful gift. His future is so bright, cannot wait to see what he accomplishes.
