As I approach the big 40, I find myself drawn to living more intentionally and creating lasting impact.
This journey has led me to officially launch The Ijeoma Okonkwo Foundation: A vision close to my heart.
Our mission is to empower young people, women, and vulnerable individuals in the society with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to build the life they truly deserve.
They say charity begins at home, so I returned to the community that raised me, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos.
This moment is deeply personal, and just the beginning of what we hope will be a far-reaching impact.
This is purpose. This is impact. This is legacy.

Yesterday, in the middle of my birthday celebration, I got a news that devastated me…
I’m not one to post or talk about people when they die, but Alex was a real one.
He was one of the few real people that I loved dearly.
I cried like I hadn’t done in a long time
So many thoughts, so many emotions were running through my mind
I wish things had been different for Alex
I wish life had been fair to him
But in everything, I realised one thing…
