I went to Dzodze and something in me shifted.
Not because it was “poor”.
But because it was rich in a way we were never taught to value.
Food growing in the backyard.
Water stored with intention.
Community.
Land that feeds you.
And I realised… the stereotype didn’t match the reality.
Africa was never lacking.

I gave away dolls in my new neighborhood in Ghana and it turned into something much bigger❤️
From helping with homework to sharing food together, this moment reminded me how powerful simple acts of kindness can be.
These children reminded me what pure joy looks like. No filters. No pretending. Just love.
Sometimes we are so focused on surviving, building, and chasing life, that we forget to slow down for the ones who matter most.
Life has taught me that children don’t need much!
Just presence, attention, care and kindness!
And maybe… we need them just as much as they need us.
Sometimes, giving back isn’t about how much you have… but how willing you are to show up.

I never asked him or told him what to do. It’s more important for me to teach him what masculine and what feminine energy is and how to balance that as a man.
