Earlier this week, we had the chance to visit the JURA Hospitality Centre for an in-person look at Pocket Pilot 3.0 on the X10, which was genuinely impressive. Seeing how JURA is thinking beyond the machine itself really stood out, with Pocket Pilot 3.0 seamlessly bringing payment, billing, and machine management into one connected system to create a smarter, more streamlined approach to modern coffee service. Experiencing it firsthand made it clear that this is about more than great coffee, it’s about shaping more efficient, adaptable, and forward-thinking hospitality and workplace environments. Huge thanks to Chris and Kathy for the fantastic walkthrough and to the entire JURA team for having us!
We wanted to do a quick brand highlight on @honeybarproductsinc an Ottawa-based company that has stayed consistent with a simple idea for over 30 years.
Built around honey as the core ingredient, the brand focuses on snack bars made with nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, held together without syrups or artificial binders. The result is a straightforward product with recognisable ingredients and a natural source of energy.
What stands out is the consistency. While the category continues to evolve, HoneyBar has remained focused on simplicity, quality, and everyday functionality. It fits easily into routines without overcomplicating the format.
A strong example of a Canadian brand built on keeping things simple and doing it well.
Following up on a strong week at LIVE LOVE SPA at The St. Regis Toronto, one thing stood out. Hydration is becoming part of the guest experience.
For spas, Bevi supports a wellness mindset with still and sparkling water, functional flavors, and a clean, elevated offering that fits naturally into relaxation spaces.
For hotels, Bevi delivers a premium water experience while reducing reliance on single-use plastic. It supports sustainability goals, simplifies operations, and gives guests more choice.
Even water is shaping how hospitality defines quality.

From a recent sampling event at one of our key accounts.
Snack sampling is essential to driving adoption in corporate wellness programs. When employees can easily try better-for-you snacks, familiarity and confidence increase, leading to repeat consumption and stronger engagement. It also provides real-time insight into what people actually enjoy, helping companies curate more effective snack offerings that align with employee preferences.
We wanted to do a quick brand highlight on @thelittlecacaoco 🍫
A local brand with a clear mission to bring chocolate back to its roots as a functional, nutrient-packed food.
Using non-alkalized cacao, they preserve the natural antioxidants and build products that deliver more than just flavour. Think protein hot chocolate, low sugar mini cups, and chocolate-based vitamins.
What we like most is how seamlessly it fits into everyday routines. Chocolate is already a daily habit, and this is a version that adds real nutritional value without changing the experience.
Founded by @suzie.yorke13 , who previously built Love Good Fats into a widely distributed brand, there is a strong focus on taste, quality, and accessibility from day one.
A great example of where snacking is heading. Familiar formats with added function.
Airports have never made it easy to eat well. Between the fast food lineups and the grab-and-go options loaded with sugar and sodium, it can feel like there's no real choice when you're hungry and your flight is boarding.
Traveling is already hard on your body. Long hours, disrupted routines, and time zone changes all add up, and what you snack on during that time makes a difference in how you actually feel when you land.
We think you should have access to something better, no matter where you're flying from.
Look for these snacks we carry next time you fly through YYZ ✈️
Excited to be at the @gordonfoodservice Show again today at the Toronto Congress Centre.
We’re set up at Booth 216 and looking forward to connecting, sharing ideas, and meeting great people from the industry.
If you’re attending, come by and say hello!
Office snacks function as infrastructure within a workplace.
Access to food at work improves energy, focus and overall performance. Small, consistent inputs like this compound across your organisation over time.
Effective snack programs are built on consistency, thoughtful selection and inclusivity across dietary needs. These details shape both daily experience and long-term engagement.
It was clear how quickly the wellness category continues to expand. Protein, functional ingredients, low sugar formulations, the space is moving fast and in many ways, converging around similar ideas.
A crowded category, but every so often a different approach stands out.
@sunawellness is building around tea instead of the usual formats. Subtle shift, but it absolutely changes the experience.
A quick recap from an incredible few days at the @restaurantscanada canada Show 2026..
We had the opportunity to showcase our solutions, run live demonstrations and connect with so many people throughout the event!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth to say hello and learn more about what we’re building. And a special thank you to the @marsham.ca team for their support in helping bring our initiatives to life throughout the show.
Here’s a short look back at the highlights:
