As some of you know, we celebrated
@miscmondays ’ 3-year anniversary this past November. Instead of the usual recap video, I wanted to create something more sentimental—a time capsule. I’m obsessed with preserving memories (probably because I have a bad one), which is why I became a photographer and writer in the first place.
These Mondays have become so dear to me and my team, who feel more like family now. Knowing we’ve lasted over 150 weeks shows how much this means to the community and culture.
I reached out to
@kendsgns , someone I felt truly understood my vision and aesthetic. Initially, I asked him to shoot a short 4-5 min doc. But as he shot and interviewed people, we realized this moment deserved something deeper. Ken decided to create a longer piece, and I decided to premiere it at the Paradise Theatre to give it the respect it deserves.
This film is meant to let us always return to each other—no matter where in the world or how far in the future we are, we’ll always have this moment. It will always be the fall of 2024.
On Monday, Feb 10th, we’re hosting a friends-and-family premiere of ‘A Moment in Time…’ at Paradise Theatre. This will be a free, ticketed event, but you’ll have to RSVP (link in bio). Approved tickets will be emailed, and Ill have a waitlist for cancellations or additional screenings.
Only Ken and I have seen the film, so it might be the world’s worst film. lol
If I haven’t invited you yet, don’t take it personally, I want to prioritize those directly tied to the night. But feel free to hit me or join the waitlist.
Of course, the AP will be at
@apt200 . You know we’re going to turn up, hug, and cry at the same time.
Excited, nervous and grateful all at once.
Who’s rolling?!
