pics that have piled up over the summer… It’s been awhile since i got to really make photos for myself in the way i like to make them. Working with the lovely people that have reached out has been the practice i needed and will continue to be that, however i don’t see myself as a true photographer more so an artist and bottling up my style to sell seems like the last thing i’d like to do. While i will continue shooting with anyone who will have me, it’s been overwhelming honestly. i tend to put too much pressure on things being perfect and with pictures u may take one that feels perfect every 6 months maybe once a year. even then a month later the shine is gone and then a get a bad roll back which makes me want to throw away anything camera related i own and find something more useful to do with my time (it’s silly, i know). it’s hard to put ur being into something as fickle as the body of a camera and some celluloid, yet here i am, hopefully i’ll never stop… if u read this far, im sorry i needed to vomit. posting more of the portrait sessions soon. hope these have some shine on em for u

i’m not gonna put toooooo much thought into how i post these, i just feel like being rid of them. everything 2024 must gooo!! tired of thinking about this bull shit.

self portrait suite- perceiving myself stirs such a range of difficult emotions. at the start of this year i became interested in focusing on placing myself in the photographic world im creating and it’s been such a healing experience. slowly ive come to a more complete understanding of my form in spaces, and it’s been such a way to express how i digest the world around me. been sorting through an ungodly amount of photos ive accumulated in the past two months, also some overlooked gems from the past two years of shooting film. i’ve grown quite constipated with the back up and need to expel, more to come💞

1. Lia 1st of what i hope to be many in this new era… the dream is to have a large collection of atl folks as themselves. i really enjoy studying people through the lens, it’s such a vulnerable place to be and the reward of giving someone their pictures makes it so much more special. hope to make many friends through this process, shoot 1 was successful in that pursuit:)) p.s happy belated birthday Lia!! my scorpio ass always finding the virgo to be friends with🙄
