@aegaeonexperience - Ruination I was a huge fan of Neural Union and their earlier work in college. This album introduced me to @matthewpaulazzo who became one of my top 5 drummers/influences. The use of space in this song is unreal. I wrote more of it out, but I can't play that fast 😅 The cymbals are hard to pick out in this album so I did my best/made some shit up.

New @nihilect just came out over at @thecirclepitofficial ! Proudly recorded and mixed in my studio. It features some of my best drum work (so far). I actually re-recorded my parts with a lower snare tuning because I was paranoid about it being too cranked. Needless to say we ended up running with that original.

I've used the same kick sample on most of my live and studio performances since I recorded it, 4 years ago in my parents' garage... Today I recorded the sequel For the nerds: I used Sennheiser e602-II and Warm Audio wa47jr's, my beautiful Mapex Armory drum, a fresh Evans EMAD2, a dusty ass pillow. Spent 3 hours messing with tunings and beaters and recorded probably 600 samples that I'm about to go sift through - but not before setting my kit back up to track the next @nihilect tune...
