i’m a bit late, but here’s to an amazing 2022 ♥️ had many life-changing and character-building experiences this last year: went in the studio with several beautiful bands; adopted 2 cats; made performing my profession. and most importantly: played alongside so many energising, varied, and inspiring people. here is a clip from a gig I was so very fortunate to be a part of. this is Natalie Cole’s “Inseparable” with Vince Gardner, Jerome Jennings, Nick Quigley, and of course, Belinda Munro Gardner from August 2022. still pinching myself that I got to play with such a band. let’s go 2023 🥰
here’s a fun little moment I had soloing over I Want You Back by @haimtheband from the last @evanslauritzreyne show at @thejazzlab ! this gig is always so beautiful, feeling very honoured to be on stage with such a special group of people ♥️
a lil solo I did on ‘Desert Song’ by Saje for the amazing group that is ELR (@ameliaevns@isadoralauritz@sunny.reyne ) at their debut gig. this was honestly one of the purest and most heartfelt gigs I’ve been a part of in a while. was such an honour, and I am humbled to be in the presence of these beautiful people. and of course @ash_griffin_guitar and @blakely_mcd are musical gods keeping everything together. can’t wait to do it again 🌹

can’t put into words how much joy the creation and performance of this show has given me. I have endless amounts of love for everyone involved in this beautiful beast, and thank you all for being the most loving, passionate, crazy bunch of people to see the Edge of The World with ♥️ I can not wait to step inside a golden circle with y’all again xx

hey lovely people! just heard the super exciting news that the cello quartet Cellolujah (@jiwooyooncello@henrysay_2020@alice_hurwood and Noah Lawrence, tutored but the incredible Josephine Vains) have been accepted as the only Victorian finalists in the Musica Viva Chamber competition with my composition “L’Ondes” !! absolutely over the moon for these extraordinary musos, they gave my piece so much more life than I could’ve dreamed of :) here’s the full performance of the piece from a Top Class concert earlier this year :)) you can watch the livestream grand final on sept 12, and vote for the audience choice award! love to all ♥️
