a full glimpse of my logo ✨
The name Mira originates from Latin and can be translated as “the wonderful” or “the admirable.”
I chose this name for my makeup alter ego as a tribute to my great-grandmother, Hermine.
Even as a child, I admired her beauty and radiant presence. She deeply influenced not only who I’ve become, but also my professional journey.
If you asked me why I love doing makeup so much, I’d say: there’s nothing else that allows me to blossom the way this does.
Makeup is where I can truly express myself and let my creativity flow.
I don’t see makeup as just a tool to recreate trends or chase beauty standards.
To me, it’s a form of self-expression and a powerful tool of empowerment.
When you look at the history of makeup, you quickly see how it reflects the social dynamics of its time and how people used it to express themselves, their identities, and their cultures.
Makeup is art.
Makeup looks are fleeting works of art that capture powerful, personal moments in time.
Through this page, I want to celebrate this art and share those moments with you. 🫶🏽

I wanted to post these for a while now. Somehow I’m still a bit hesitant about uploading pictures of myself here. Guess I just have to get used to it. ✨
