Once worn both the piece and the wearer take on a new shared form.
To recognize this new form and self, we look at a reflection, through our own eyes, or another’s, and in this portal something new can emerge.

FENCER
Acting as a veil, the thin lattice creates a crystalline filter over the wearer’s face, subtly concealing their identity while still allowing high visibility from within the headpiece.
Depending on the wearer, design may rest below the lips on the chin, or float slightly above the mouth. The headpiece is to be worn in silence.
