2025/26 NEW ARTIST | Welcoming Minylan Echols @minylan from Chicago, IL
Minylan Echols is a Chicago-born dance artist whose movement journey began in the sanctuary of New Life Southeast’s Covenant Dance Ministry, Yielded Vessel, under the guidance of Kendall Mallette and Matthew Williams. Minylan is a graduate of The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts) and earned his BFA in Dance from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase in 2025.
Minylan has furthered his training with prestigious programs such as Walnut Hill School for the Arts Summer Ballet Program, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham’s Summer Intensive, and Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts (EMIA). His performance experience includes works by iconic choreographers including Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, Norbert De La Cruz III, Tushrik Fredricks, Kevin Wynn, Matthew Rushing, and Christian Alexander Warner. Minylan is excited to embark on his first season with Visceral.

Featuring works by Minylan Echols, David Keingatti, Spirit Priester, Destin Morisset and Stephen Haley. Repertory solo choreographers by: Christian Warner, Billy Bell, Roderick George, Kele Roberson, and Crystal Pite!
$5 general admission at the door/$3 for students with Purchase ID and senior citizens (cash only). Both performances will be live-streamed.
