La creación de esta pieza plantea un cruce entre arte-objeto y diseño funcional. Es una declaración de madurez estética, donde la contención formal no limita, sino que refuerza mi identidad visual. A través de esta lámpara, busco consolidar un lenguaje propio que dialogue con la cerámica contemporánea.

Cada pieza encierra una historia y muchas horas de trabajo. Haber logrado materializar esta idea me motiva profundamente a seguir explorando mis posibilidades dentro del mundo de la cerámica.

I spent a month in 🇮🇹 @salemi.ceramics teaching wheel throwing and decoration techniques. I was anxious before going. Impostor syndrome was louder than ever. But once I got there, the whole experience exceeded any expectation I could have.
The school is at the most beautiful location in this tiny town in Sicily. My students were the best! And the whole experience confirmed not only that I love teaching but that I’m very good at it. (Take that impostor syndrome!)
But what I didn’t expect was to meet so many wonderful people and to be fortunate to find a group of - talented - friends who would make the whole trip 100x better!
I fell in love with Sicily’s blooming mountains, the sea, it’s food and so much more 💞 this carrousel is just a mini portrait of what this month was.

I’ll be back next year with more to teach. In the mean time if you want to learn wheel throwing or come experiment with hand building in Barcelona, come to our beautiful studio! 🌈
