Yesterday was one of the most exciting days I've had directing opera. Yesterday was Snake Orientation.
We met our cherished cast member, Neil the Albino Burmese Python, who will be performing with the Charmeuse in Thaïs.
Due to complicated health code restrictions, we'd been rehearsing with his cover (a rolled-up weighted blanket) until now, and are beyond chuffed to finally feel his chemistry with the performers in the room.
