Thank you for always coming to visit us 😭 I look forward to your visits more than anything else, and I’m so glad we could take a girls’ trip together with Bellamia. I’m also glad you and Lydia could overlap your time in Japan a little bit! The three of us haven’t been together since 2019 😭 We’ll need to all travel together next time.

Okinawa Trip Part 6
Bellamia has been taking swimming lessons for the past couple of months, so I thought it would be nice for her to try snorkeling. She loved it! The dive shop had a little raft for her with a window to see the fish below her. She kept kicking her little feet, she was so happy 😆💕💕💕 This was also mine and Lorraine’s first time to snorkel together! The water was so clear, and so many different colors of fish. It was a lovely experience ☺️ After snorkeling, we had lunch at the café attached to the dive shop. Can’t go to Okinawa without getting taco rice!
Okinawa Trip Part 5
We went snorkeling in Onna! We wanted to go to Blue Cave, but the cave was closed due to weather conditions. We loved the little cove we went to anyway! We had to take a couple of buses to the dive shop. While we were waiting for the second bus, Bellamia started creeping on a woman and tried to see what she was watching on her phone. The woman looked at her and said, “Be careful. I might be a bad guy!” Bellamia jumped away so fast 😆 “Onee-san needs some space.” “Me too. Mimi needs space 😳”

Okinawa Trip Part 4 Churaumi Aquarium + Lunch
We got to see the whale shark eat! Bellamia ate French fries and karaage, while Lorraine and I had Okinawan soba.
Okinawa Trip: Part 3 Churaumi Aquarium
We decided to visit Okinawa instead of Hokkaido because Bellamia said she wanted to see whale sharks. We spent all of Sunday at the aquarium, but she almost fell asleep before we made it to the shark section 😆 Then, she was too excited to even think about sleeping after that (there will be one more bunch from Churaumi)
Okinawa Trip: Part 2
We got to the hotel at nearly midnight on Saturday, and we didn’t have energy to explore around after we got checked in. We woke up to wonderful views and peaceful sounds! We played at the beach for about an hour before taking the bus to the aquarium (Part 3). After coming back to the hotel, we played for another 30 minutes or so. It was low tide, and Bellamia could explore a little cave. Too bad we didn’t bring a shovel and pail to make a sandcastle. Bellamia has learned a thing or two from her cat brothers on how to play in the sand though 😆
Okinawa Trip: Part 1!
Bellamia has ridden a plane 9 times now, and she has almost never made it through take-off without falling asleep 😆 She was talking to me as we were waiting to use the runway, but she passed out right before take-off. She slept until 30 minutes before we landed in Okinawa 😆. We were able to catch the very last bus that would take us close enough to our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with how big the room was! More than that… the hotel had a private beach 💕
