Unlit Face Binding presents precisely this state of containment. The ferocious visage is not deliberate terror, but instinct suppressed yet never erased; the black-lacquered armor is not a symbol of glory, but a shell that renders a person cold, efficient, and functional. Their coexistence does not speak of opposition, but of reality—that to reach the end, one must endure this tension.
