A huge thank you to Sheriff John D. Carr for supporting the Drone Certification Program at Thurgood Marshall Middle School hosted by the Minority Tech Foundation and Jacobs Ladder Youth Foundation.
Students worked together in small groups to assemble drones, strengthening their teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills while gaining hands-on STEM experience. Programs like these continue to open doors for our youth and provide positive pathways through technology and innovation.
Special thanks to Michelle Agnew and Prince George's County Public Schools for helping to make this impactful experience possible for our students and community.

The Jacobs Ladder Youth Foundation and the Minority Tech Foundation were honored to take over 35 dedicated teachers out to Topgolf for an evening of fun, fellowship, and appreciation during Teacher Appreciation Week!
Our educators spend countless hours shaping, mentoring, and inspiring our precious youth each and every day. Yesterday was all about giving them a well-deserved opportunity to relax, connect, laugh, and enjoy themselves outside of the classroom environment.
We owe our teachers so much for the impact they make in our communities and in the lives of future generations.
Special thank you to Jacobs Ladder Youth Foundation, Prince George’s County Public Schools, and all of the incredible educators who continue to make a difference every day!

The Minority Tech Foundation (MTF) would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) for allowing us the opportunity to support such a meaningful and impactful community event.
Special thanks to Kenya Turner and Tony Humphrey for their leadership and commitment to youth engagement, as well as State Farm, NAACP, Anthem HealthKeepers Plus, and the Department of Emergency Management (DEMS) for their collaboration and support.
Because of these partnerships, we were proud to provide drones to students and laptops courtesy of AT&T, helping spark curiosity, creativity, and pathways into STEM and technology careers.
Thank you for trusting MTF to be part of this important work—we look forward to continuing to serve and uplift our communities.

Yesterday was truly inspiring!
The Minority Tech Foundation (MTF) was honored to support the students of Apple Grove Elementary School during the Law & Justice / Cybersecurity Awareness event!
In collaboration with the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGCPD) and Melwood, students explored how law enforcement, cybersecurity, and aviation technology connect to solve real-world problems.
From flying drones to learning how technology supports modern policing, our young scholars discovered exciting STEM careers that use drones and digital safety skills to protect and serve their communities. MTF was able to donate 25 drones for students to take home after yesterdays workshop thanks to the Prince George’s County Community Partnership Grant!

The Minority Tech Foundation proudly thanks Supervisor Rodney Lusk, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, and the District Attorney’s Office for leading Fairfax County’s very first Expungement Clinic.
We’re especially proud of our very own MTF Program Manager, Maurice Johnson, who supported the effort by streamlining the paperwork process using his expertise in A.I. workflows — tools that we actively teach and encourage at MTF.
This is what community impact looks like: leveraging technology, collaboration, and innovation to break down barriers and open new opportunities for our residents.
Together, we are building a more just, equitable, and tech-empowered future. 💻✊
