Why Draw?
Fresh zine to start the year, with the vivid and disruptived design by
@sorinavazelina and
@krishan_rajapakshe poetic, radical words. These pages capture a two-day workshop full of dialogue, reflection, and (of course) drawings.
For some, it was an occasion to reconnect with themselves, while for others, with a practice repressed by school. Either way, drawing shouldn’t be about aesthetics or “beauty,” but about resisting authority and opening up new meanings.

This zine is the outcome of the How Why Draw?, a workshop coordinated by Sorina Vasilescu and Krishan Rajapakshe, developed during Școala Altfel at Liceul de Arte Plastice Timișoara, produced as part of Mini Library Show, a project organized by Minitremu, in partnership with Liceul de Arte Plastice Timișoara,
