For the last 6 years I’ve been honored to document @colonyhouse as they continue putting “good” out into the world. It’s not just good music, good shows or good feelings. It’s the kind of good that people cling to, hope for and crave deep in their spirit. It’s the kind of good that took me out on my first tour. The kind of good that let me crash in their guest rooms. The kind of good that hugged me after learning about my dad’s cancer diagnosis. Saturday night @thepinnaclenashville felt like one of those rare moments that the world gave some “good” back to the boys. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
Yesterday felt like a gift.
I’ve watched this love take shape, and I’ve watched the waiting that came before it. The prayers. The hope. The trust it took for him to keep believing that God was writing a story he couldn’t see yet. And then there she was. His wife. The one his heart had been preparing for all along.
Their wedding day felt covered from the start. Not rushed, not forced, just gently held by God in every detail.
Surrounded by family, wrapped in so much love, the day unfolded with a sweetness that only comes when something is deeply rooted and long prayed for.
And the vows… they were everything. Honest, reverent, full of gratitude and devotion. Promises spoken with the weight of knowing what it means to wait and the humility of finally receiving. I cried. Everyone cried. It felt sacred to witness words that had been carried in hearts long before they were ever spoken out loud.
Some love stories aren’t about finding something quickly. They’re about trusting God completely and watching Him be faithful in the most beautiful way.
Yesterday was proof of that. 🤍
