A burly traverse in Griffith park @nicholasludwig set a new PR for himself on the 11 peaks east traverse in the centrally located city oasis. With a bit of logistics and luck we intersected at two points to document the successful attempt.

As I take a break from rock climbing to rehab some weak joints it’s good to see my longtime climbing partner branch back out into an old love of his in running and incorporate those mountain skills of scrambling to put together some great accomplishments in the Los Angeles area. This type of photography also pulls me back to my earlier years of skateboarding in the pursuit of documenting tricks for friends using skill and timing. The collage a call back to old volcom ads I saw in my youth.

My appetite for honesty is immense in the current climate.

• I find digital media has made it so easy to mindlessly lie, so in my own practice I run to analog processes to make my own lies harder to tell and accept reality and mistakes as products of being human.

Im also very interested in this analog format where two versions of the truth are available. Not sure what to make of that yet.
