We said goodbye to sweet Patches on February 13 after nearly 5 too-short years filled with love, laughs, and sass! It took her time to warm up, but when she did, she loved her siblings hard!
While waiting on her diagnosis, I stumbled on @modern_cat_mag ‘s “Tiny Cat Stories” and later sent in her story - by the time it was published, she was gone. It means everything that a little piece of her lives on.
In an unexpected, full-circle moment, the vet who helped her pass peacefully at home was the same one who cared for my torbie, Ringlet, years ago. I like to think she was there waiting for her 🤍

Heraldry for Healdsburg!
Our @phxmagazine girls’ trip turned out to be the purr-fect fall-foliage gateway into the holiday season - like stepping directly into a Hallmark rom-com, lol. The townsfolk were wonderful and warm, the food was delicious, and the rooms were wildly cozy (some even decked out with woodland creatures!). I even got a dose of kitties, though I still missed my own, so I picked them up some souvenirs from @fideauxshops to help garner forgiveness for leaving. 🤪
This trip was filled with new sights, scents, sweets, and some of the best sleep of my life - I’m convinced those beds were enchanted! And with a few of my favorite gal pals, it’s a memory I’ll always treasure. Plus, we tried olive oil straight up and honey so fresh, I’m hoping my allergies have been sent on a permanent vacation! 🙏🏼 Stay tuned for more to come on the pages of @phxmagazine ! 🍯 🍁 📖
