This was my COVID project. Yeah. It finally caught up to us. It’s been an ordeal that feels like it will never end. My husband left for a 9 day work trip and tested positive on the way home from the airport. He went straight to a hotel to isolate but ended up rebounding (without symptoms) and we all ended up getting it. It’s been over a month long ordeal and we are STILL waiting for our older son to be negative. He has had the faintest line for 3 days now (he’s on day 9) so we’re hoping tomorrow! 🤞 This sushi dragon pattern by @craftipus is SO cute. As soon as I saw it I couldn’t wait for the pattern to be released! COVID gave me some time to make it and some accessories to go with! Day 3: Photo or Video. For crochet? Photo, hands down. How can you really see details when the piece is moving around? It doesn’t work and I don’t like it. ☹️👵🏻 But really, I prefer photos for crochet finished pieces. Tutorial videos are great but also there are SO many because it works so well for crochet accounts. I like to see what people made and really look at it and the work that went into it. This was a project I had thought about for a long time and when the pandemic hit I was able to actually make it. It started from a freak shake pattern by @twinkiechan but I made it a freak Bloody Mary. I had fun researching freak Bloody Mary’s. Some of them get a little ridiculous 🤣 but I love it. Do you like enjoying a Bloody Mary? There’s a mix of patterns mostly by @twinkiechan and @copaceticcrocheter and some I made on my own. It helps to have an amazing photographer as a husband. The last of the fish posts! These were some various free patterns I found online. The sunfish is from @gheebeanscrafty ‘s new book. I had fun making all of these and my son loved it which is what mattered most. 🥰

Had to add a dolphin in the mix! This great no sew pattern is from @aqcrochets that I have made a few times. Works up great!
