Thrilled to share in my role incubating #EdTechCanada, we recently participated as a Founding Member of the #GlobalEdTechAlliance of Alliances at its Convening Meeting in Paris.
Incubated by UNESCO‘s Global Education Coalition, the Alliance brought together 30 organizations across 50+ countries, representing all seven global regions- highlighting both the diversity and shared ambition within the global #EdTech community.
The day focused on dialogue and interactive workshops around what makes successful ecosystems, the common challenges we face, and how we can collaborate more effectively at a global level.
We concluded with the formal Convening Meeting, where members:
Adopted the Alliance Charter
Elected the inaugural AoA Board, congratulations to all appointed
A particularly strong theme was the importance of learning from both successes (and equally as important, failures!) to build a truly inclusive and impactful global ecosystem. Honoured part of this team of remarkable and passionate global edtech leaders.
We look forward to what’s to come!

🚀 While It's been a marathon not a sprint, speaks to the AI journey -- I embrace the notion, innovation moves at the speed of trust. Excited to share a 'sneak peek' of something I’ve been working on…
This spring, I’ll be launching my new book: Being Human in the Age of AI: The Human Skills AI Can’t Replace.
At a time when AI is transforming how we work and learn, this book explores a powerful idea:
our greatest advantage isn’t competing with AI, it’s doubling down on what makes us human.
💡 Sneak peek:
In chapter one, I explore how skills like empathy, curiosity, ethical judgment, and creativity are no longer “soft”, they are essential infrastructure for thriving in an AI-powered world. While machines can process information, humans create meaning. And that distinction is where the future of education and leadership lives.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more insights as we get closer to launch (just ~2 months away!).
If you're interested in bringing these ideas into your organization through professional learning, workshops, or keynotes, I’d love to connect.
📩 DM me to start the conversation.
