So, uh, this is, like, our record almost-release show. We are celebrating the release of our new single “Black Veil,” which will be out in two weeks. It’s what’s playing in this reel in fact. Come. And then join us this Friday 5/15/26 at @spatsbar (the show is presented by @livemusiceastbay ). Fishman could not do the set so we got another comic in his stead. Let’s back up to the beginning, shall we? This Friday night is gonna rule because we are going to do an OLD SCHOOL style event where comics open for the music talent. Some real 70s shit. So opening the evening and Master of Ceremonies for the whole event will be @uriahcomedy . The second act will be Fairfax melancholic indie rockers @torpedowharf Next up will be the comedic stylings of @stuntmasterg @greghughes (we hope to have tagged the right person, as we seem to have mutual friends. It’s sounds crazy but the Bay Area operates under 2-3 degrees of separation if we were forced to spit out a number. 🤞🏼). And after Greg Hughes features, we, the Minds Without A Face, will rain awesome, melodic, post-punk-ish fury upon your crowns. All ages. $10. 8pm entertainment begins. See you there, lovely humans.

Pre gaming before the show

We’ve got an single coming out soon. It’s called “Black Veil.” All bands know this pain: showing friends your recording with bated breath. Everyone is getting hit by everything from everywhere such that adding to it feels heavy. Know what I mean? Anyway… @rocknrollsoccermom of @sounddecayrecords offered his thoughts and it made our hearts swell.

This is Savoy Brown’s 1970 LP “Raw Sienna.” It was their last with this lineup, which was fire. They were really firing on all cylinders. Lots of creative fuel for us 56 years later… Just getting primed for our show May 15 @spatsbar (promoted by @livemusiceastbay ).
