Meet Our Grip: Kai Sugioka-Stone
I like to figure out how the camera and the lights will get exactly where they gotta go. Give me a pancake and a baby stand, and I’ll happily make a lunch table. I’m excited to just collaborate with this all-star crew. I’m so proud to see what Jovann Guevara the cinematographer has in store for us, along with the multiple multi-hyphenate powerhouses on this project as they work together.

“Dreaming of Carhartt” is a playful fashion film that follows Soren, a young man obsessed with the idea of Carhartt apparel, to the point where he sees floating Carhartt in his dreams. The narrative blends humor and dreamlike visuals to explore Soren’s imagination and desire, and how brand obsession and our own self image can take over our lives.
