Ill be calling Chiang Mai home for November ♡ Having lived in a small town in the uk for a few months now I feel like my ability to function in cities has really quickly depleted, and there feels no need to fight it. Ive rented a small and basic room and won’t have many distractions, so in this time I’ll be focusing on slowness, observing, creating, maybe learning some traditional craft skills. I’m sad to be missing the cool autumnal air and orange hues but ofc grateful to be in my other home. It’s nice to get to miss Yorkshire & I’ll be back by the end of the year ready to lay roots in Scarborough.
Nobody is going to get you where you want to go other than yourself, opportunities are all around you but you’re responsible for the actions that lead you to become a version of yourself where they’re accessible.
Ask yourself what environment you need to access flow, and make it your mission to create it! This applies to forming habits too.. like if you want to do xx for xx minutes a day.. create an environment to make that easier and consistent for yourself ☆

I make my charms from weighted metal fishing lures (20-30g). I source vintage genuine glass beads from a lady who lives in my town, and I try not to plan them, I just pull together shapes, colours and textures that feel right. Each one has its own personality.
